Steal The Cookie is a game made by Bultopia OOD. This page explains what happens with your information when you play it.

What we collect

The game has no accounts, no sign-in and no chat, and we, Bultopia OOD, run no servers of our own. We do not collect your name, email address or contacts.

Play statistics

To understand how the game is played and improve it, we use Google Analytics for Firebase, a service of Google. It records anonymous play statistics:

• when the game is opened and how long it is played;
• which levels are started and how they end (won, caught or out of time), with the number of stars;
• a random app instance ID created for this installation, your device model, operating system version and language, and an approximate location (country or region) derived from your IP address.

These statistics are not linked to your identity, are not used for ads and are not shared with advertisers. The game does not use the advertising identifier for statistics. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, statistics are recorded only if you agree in the consent form. Google processes the data as described in the Google Privacy Policy; Google Analytics keeps it for 2 months by default.

Advertising

The game is free and shows ads from Google AdMob, a service of Google. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK inside the app may collect and process:

• the advertising identifier of your device (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when iOS asks you;
• your IP address and an approximate location derived from it;
• information about your device, such as model, operating system version and language;
• information about the ads you see and tap, and diagnostic information such as crashes and performance.

Google uses this information as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice for ads and play statistics at any time with the Privacy choices button on the main menu.

iOS asks whether the game may track you. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the advertising identifier is not shared and ads are not personalised with it. You can change this at any time in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security → Tracking.

What stays on your device

Your game progress (unlocked levels and stars) and your settings (sound, camera and language) are saved only on your device, inside the app. They are never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes this information.

Children

The game is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
