The MyBestClick cookie and browser-storage inventory, Cloudflare security checks, optional Google Analytics and Meta Pixel services, and how to change your choices.

The public website offers Google Analytics 4 for optional usage measurement and Meta Pixel for optional advertising measurement and audiences. Neither provider’s tag loads until you accept its category: Analytics for Google and Marketing for Meta. The website’s diagrams and animations work without these services.

Both optional choices start off. You may accept all, reject optional services or save individual choices. Closing the notice, scrolling or continuing to browse does not provide consent. Rejection leaves the public content and contact channels available. Cookie settings are available in the footer and on this page.

This policy concerns www.mybestclick.net. The account portal, publisher properties, payment services and other external websites have their own applicable technologies and notices. A public-site preference is not a network-wide advertising opt-out.

mbc-cookie-choice is a first-party localStorage entry written when you save a privacy decision. It records the configuration version, your Analytics and Marketing choices, and an expiry timestamp. It remembers that decision for up to 180 days. It is not an advertising identifier, and the consent component does not send this record to our server.

An expired or incompatible record is ignored. The unused entry can remain in browser storage until a new decision overwrites it or you remove this site’s data. When browser storage is available, open tabs on the same website update their choices when the saved preference changes and check it again when you return to a tab. If storage is unavailable, a choice may last only for the current page and cannot be synchronized reliably. Other devices keep their own settings.

The enquiry form, prepared email draft and animation controls use temporary page state. Your browser can retain or restore information through autofill or navigation caching; your email application can retain drafts and messages under its own settings.

Cloudflare Turnstile is used for security verification when the enquiry form or email-reveal control is used. It can process browser/device signals and connection information, including an IP address, independently of optional Analytics and Marketing consent. Turnstile is configured without pre-clearance; this integration does not request a cf_clearance cookie. Cloudflare’s processing is described in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum. If verification cannot run, telephone and postal contact remain available.

When Google Analytics is configured and you accept Analytics, Google can set _ga and _ga_<property identifier> cookies to distinguish browsers and maintain session state. The website configures host-only analytics cookies with a maximum age of 180 days and without renewing that duration on each visit. Cookie names can include a property-specific suffix.

Our manually configured events measure page views, registration and contact clicks, and direct enquiries accepted for email delivery. They use the page origin, path and title, omit URL query strings and fragments, and send an empty page-referrer field. Interaction parameters are fixed categories and exclude your form fields, enquiry reference, contact addresses and email-draft contents. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our configuration. Google also receives the technical information needed to handle its requests; its account and service settings affect processing.

The cookie lifetime is not the retention period for events and reports held by Google Analytics. That retention depends on the property settings and applicable service rules. The Privacy Notice explains the purpose, legal basis, recipients and rights.

If you accept Marketing, Meta Pixel can set _fbp for browser identification and _fbc for ad-click attribution where applicable. Meta determines these cookies’ duration and may process other identifiers from its services. Their actual presence and expiry depend on the browser, prior Meta interactions and provider behavior; consult your browser’s cookie inventory and Meta’s current policy.

The pixel sends PageView events for advertising measurement and audiences. Meta can receive the full page URL, including its parameters, referring-page information, device and connection signals and applicable identifiers. It may connect those signals with a Meta account or other information it holds. Do not put confidential or sensitive information in a URL.

Our implementation does not explicitly include enquiry fields or advanced-matching values in pixel events and disables automatic configuration when initializing the pixel. This does not describe or control every form of processing performed by Meta under its own service and account settings.

Open Cookie settings to change or withdraw an optional permission. The website disables its relevant integration and attempts to remove matching cookies it can access: the configured Google Analytics cookies for Analytics, and _fbp and _fbc for Marketing. It cannot remove cookies on another domain, HttpOnly cookies, or every cookie stored under a different path. Your browser’s site-data controls let you inspect and remove remaining cookies and localStorage.

Withdrawal does not erase information already received by Google or Meta and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact us or use the provider’s privacy controls for a request concerning previously collected information. Browser cookie blocking is an additional control and is separate from the choice saved on this website.

Accepting a commercial agreement or sending a business enquiry is separate from accepting optional tracking. If you remove the saved preference, the optional categories start off again and you can make a new choice.
