Getting started as an advertiser
Prepare your account, offer, creative and measurement before buying traffic. Follow a practical first-campaign checklist with clear checks before activation.
A useful first campaign begins with a complete offer and a question the test can answer. Prepare these items before activating traffic; the team can then confirm the account access and channel requirements that fit your plan.
Create your account and describe the offer
Register in the MyBestClick portal. Share the final destination, what you sell or promote, the intended countries and devices, and the action you want a visitor to take. Confirm the advertiser permissions and review requirements for the proposed channel. Registration alone should not be treated as campaign approval.
Choose a format and prepare matching assets
Use the format guides to understand the visitor experience, then confirm the accepted dimensions, files or text requirements for the placement. Check the entire destination on target devices, including redirects, forms and checkout. The page should deliver what the advertisement promises.
Confirm funding and campaign boundaries
Review the published payment information and the terms that apply to your account. Set a test budget, available targeting and a clear reason to pause. Keep the source mix and creative changes manageable enough to understand the result; spending more is not a substitute for a defined objective.
Test measurement before activation
Confirm the supported attribution route and send an identifiable test through the intended conversion journey. Check that campaign identifiers reach the destination and that the event is not counted twice. Record timezone and reporting definitions. Once the approved setup is active, compare delivery with the business outcome and investigate differences before expanding.
Have a useful brief ready
Bring the offer URL, target markets, creative assets, test budget and conversion definition. If a requirement is unclear, include the campaign context in your support enquiry rather than guessing a platform setting.
